donut shop color comps
I want the city colors to be very low saturation while the donut shop to have inviting and happy colors. Let me know if you have any suggestions. I'm not happy with any of these yet.

Very nice sketches! My favorite is the top left. It's nice and simple and the contrast between background and foreground really works nicely. I'd combine it with the bottom right one though because I like the cool shadows added in. I'd make them more subtle than they are in that one. Hope that helps!

Hey Nikki! Nice color comps...I agree with Ron. I think that if you're able to combine the top left and the bottom right somehow, it will make for a nice piece. Looking forward to seeing the final product! Hope all is well. =)
Cool Stuff. I'm leaning toward the top right and the bottom left. The top one's great because it has that chrome, desaturated feel in the back, while you got this fast food color scheme in the front. The bottom one is cool because the shop screams coffee to me.
Cool... I really like the top left one.. its not full of glee like you were looking for but I like the feeling of the atmosphere in that one. nice... cant wait to see more!

Great to see you diving back into this Nikki. I agree that a combo of the top left and the bottom right comps might be the ticket. I feel like your going for that early morning vibe, so play up the sunlight kicking off the skyscraper windows in the background.
